SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method for control over cable position in cable-driven transport system and to said system. Transport system comprises, at least, one first and one second rollers that makes a locating roller. First motion parameter is defined for first cable roller. Second motion parameter is defined for locating roller. Said first and second parameters are compared to define relative discrepancy. Said relative discrepancy defines safety margin of transport system operation.
EFFECT: easy determination of cal runoff chances.
