FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: each of the monitored vehicles is fitted with apparatus which uses a receiving antenna to receive radio-navigation signals of corresponding satellite radio-navigation systems, e.g., GPS and (or) GLONASS systems, which are transmitted from its output to the input of the radio-navigation signal receiver of satellite radio-navigation systems, which use the received signals to determine the current time, coordinates (latitude and longitude) and the speed of the monitored vehicle. The current time code from the first output of the radio-navigation signal receiver of the satellite radio-navigation systems is transmitted to the first input of the code former of the logbook of the monitored vehicle. Similarly, latitude, longitude and speed codes of the vehicle from the second, third and fourth outputs of the radio-navigation signal receiver of the satellite radio-navigation systems are transmitted, respectively, to the second, third and fourth inputs of the code former of the logbook of the monitored vehicle.

EFFECT: high reliability of the system of monitoring vehicles, broader functional capabilities of the system of monitoring vehicles due to the possibility of monitoring how much the crew needs help and monitoring emergency situations.
