FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for continuous multi-step polymerisation enables to obtain aromatic and polycrystalline polyamides containing 25-50 mol % aromatic dicarboxylic acids, 25-49.5 mol % aliphatic diamines and 0.5-25 mol % aromatic diamines. Polycondensation is carried out in a first reactor with controlled removal of water at constant pressure from 6 to 50 bar, adiabatic temperature of 180-260°C and dwell time of 0.5-2.5 hours. The process is carried out until a polycondensate-water equilibrium is established. The melt from the first reactor is fed into a second reactor, where further polycondensation takes place with controlled removal of water and excess pressure of 0-30 bar, adiabatic temperature of 250-340°C and dwell time of 0.5-2.5 hours. The process in the second reactor also continues until a polycondensate-water equilibrium is established.
EFFECT: continuous production of copolyamides.
