FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing granular nylon salt, comprising steps of: a) obtaining, in pressure vessel, concentrated aqueous mixture containing at least 65 wt. % of salt components and at most 35 wt. % of aqueous medium, wherein weight percentages in wt. % are calculated with respect to the total weight of the aqueous mixture; b) adjusting the concentrated aqueous mixture in the pressure vessel so that the temperature Tp is at least 150 °C; c) adjusting the pre-condensation flowing in the concentrated aqueous mixture so that its passage level is at most 15 mol. %; and d) discharging container operating under pressure by instantaneous evaporation of concentrated aqueous mixture through flash valve into flash chamber during evaporation of aqueous medium in amount, sufficient to obtain residual moisture content of at most 7.5 wt. %, and obtain a granular nylon salt, wherein wt. % for residual moisture content is calculated with respect to the weight of the granulated nylon salt. Invention also relates to a nylon salt obtained using said method, to compressed pellets from such a granular nylon salt, as well as to a method of producing a nylon polymer using said granulated salt or compressed tablets and a method of producing polyamide using such a granular salt.
EFFECT: technical result is the development of an efficient and effective method of producing nylon salt, which facilitates obtaining the end product in a faster and easier way using less water.
