SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing a ballast pipe implies that a pipe coated with a layer of waterproof and / or insulation material has locks installed on which a reinforcing cage is attached. The pipe is placed inside casing made as a welded structure that has a complex shape with an open top; inside recesses for a pipe located at two end walls of the casing. The upper parts of the end walls of the casing are installed. The upper edges of the side walls of the casing are fastened to each other with tie rods. Vibrators are installed in the mounting seats located on the side walls of the casing. Then concrete is poured through the open top of the casing. In the process of pouring, the concrete mix is compacted by means of vibrators creating mostly multifrequency fluctuations. The impact of multifrequency fluctuations is continued even after finishing pouring the concrete mix before concrete mix is set.

EFFECT: invention will produce high quality ballast coating of a pipe with a section other than a circular one.
