FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device to remove snow from a building roof comprises driving units placed on both roof slopes and kinematically connected with shafts equipped with radial thrust bearings and joined drive shafts with fixed auger blades. Driving units and radial thrust bearings are installed on a trolley with the capability of its displacement along the roof ridge on wheels with elastic rims with the help of two traction ropes connected with the trolley. The second ends of traction ropes after rounding diverging units installed at the roof ends are attached to winch barrels installed on the building attic. On the trolley at the side of joined traction ropes there are acute-angled diagonal ploughs fixed. Along the ridge at its both sides there are flat limiters fixed against side displacement of traction ropes. On the trolley there is an accumulator battery for supply to electric motors of driving units.
EFFECT: reduced energy intensity related to removal of snow from building roofs.
