FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed control device comprises means to obtain magnitude of engine requirement, means to gather data on engine for providing data on current operating conditions or engine operating performances. Magnitude of requirements of every torque, efficiency and air-to-fuel ratio, and data on engine are loaded in engine inverse model 30. The latter is then used to calculate magnitudes of actuate to reach the magnitudes of said requirements. Magnitude of direct requirement of actuator required directly from every actuator 2, 4 and 6. Control over said actuators is adapted for changing from control by magnitude of actuator requirement to control by magnitude of direct requirement of actuator.

EFFECT: accurate display of requirements to ICE performances by eliminating deficient torque control.
