FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of materials from powders with the help of energy of explosives. It may be used in industry for production of tribological couples. Powder of metal-polymer mix containing 60-90% of metal powder to be compacted is placed in container with inside thickness not exceeding 0.2 of ampoule inner diameter D and metal shell with decreased adhesion to polymers. Said container is arranged in symmetry with ampoule lengthwise axis. Porous borne medium is arranged between container shell and steel inserts with thickness (0.25-0.35)D. Two male dies made from metal with increased density and thickness equal to 1.2-1.5 of external thickness of container with said mix are arranged aligned with said container and on ampoule outer surface. Sand layers are arranged between male dies and sector charges of explosive. Used explosive sector charge features detonation rate of 3800-4120 m/s. Area of contact of every said sector charge with ampoule wall makes some 34-42%. Relation of specific weight to sum of specific weights of ampoule wall, steel insert and porous borne layer makes 0.14-0.29.
EFFECT: plate-like shape, high strength and wear resistance.
