FIELD: superconducting materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of preparing items from ceramic superconducting powders using detonation energy. One or several containers with moldable powder of superconducting material, metal plates on both sides of each layer of superconducting material, and side metal shell are installed at equal distances between steel castable plate and steel foundation, and a charge is placed on surface of castable plate. In the space between castable plate and steel foundation, porous conveying medium of hard-moldable material, e.g. sand, is placed, side shell of each container being made from a high-ductility material, e.g. from lead, with thickness constituting 0.9-1.2 thickness of metal plate or container with moldable powder. Process is conducted at detonation speed of explosive substance 3600-4400 m/s and at ratio of its specific weight to sum of specific weights of castable plate, layers of conveying porous layers between container, castable plate, and steel foundation, metal plates of container, and castable powder layer equal to 0.095-0.292, whereas ratio of specific weight of castable plate to that of steel foundation is 0.25-0.7. Prepared are high-density, large-size, flat superconducting items in the form of plates and disks with no stratification and fissures. Stability of density throughout the bulk of items is increased, which enables using compacted items without calcination in electronic industry, for example, as sprayed targets under laser and magnetron spraying conditions and to prolong service life of most metal consuming parts of process line.
