FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: drier comprises a chamber of a multimode resonator, fixed on stands as capable of rotation with the help of a rotation device, made of two truncated cones of different height and a cylindrical part connecting them to each other by larger bases, a rotary vacuum-tight coupling with a waveguide input of microwave energy, a device for chamber blowing with an air line and a device for pumping of chamber volume with a dielectric nozzle installed via a rotary vacuum seal at the side of the chamber bottom along its axis near the bottom plane and bent upwards relative to a horizontal base of a device for drying, in accordance with the invention, a drier comprises a horn antenna installed between a rotary vacuum-tight coupling and a truncated cone larger in height, the horn of which at the outlet is closed with a radiolucent partition with a through hole in the centre, contactless position sensors installed on stands near a horn antenna, at the same time the chamber is fixed on stands at the angle 8-10° relative to the horizontal base. Besides, in the cylindrical part of the chamber there is a loading hatch with a cover and a vacuum and microwave seal, the ratio of heights of a higher truncated cone, a cylindrical part and a lower truncated cone makes 0.75:1:0.5, and the angle between the height and the generatrix of the higher cone makes 8-10°. An air duct of a device for chamber blowing is introduced into a cavity of the antenna horn near a plane of a radiolucent partition. To improve operational characteristics of a device, possibility of monitoring drying process, there are strain sensors installed on stands, on the inner surface of the chamber there are temperature sensors installed, a device for pumping chamber volume includes the following components serially installed into a vacuum line - a pressure metre, an air cleaning filter and the second pressure metre.

EFFECT: higher productivity of a drier for loose dielectric materials with provision of high quality of a dried material and reduced energy intensity of a drying process.
