FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in selection of rustic tobacco raw material and its milling. One determines nicotine content in the milled raw material. Preliminarily one prepares 5.5% gelatine solution that is added into the milled rustic tobacco. Additionally one introduces baking soda into the mixture. One determines the mixture pH, conditions its level to 7.4-8.2 and performs stirring. Then one introduces preliminarily prepared flavouring agent solution into the mass. One thoroughly stirs the ingredients of the target product at the following components ratio, wt %: rustic tobacco - 35.0-39.0, baking soda - 2.0-6.0, flavouring agent solution - no more than 0.03, water solution of gelatine with concentration equal to 5.5% - balance. Crumbs are moulded from the produced mass. After moulding the crumbs are maintained during one day at room temperature and packed.
EFFECT: invention ensures the technology simplification, labour conditions safety increase, reduction of the risk of damage to the consumer's health, production of the target product with good organoleptic indices.
