FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a non-smoking tobacco product (naswar) production method involving selection of rustic tobacco raw material, its milling, mixing the ingredients of the target product, packing; the method specificity consists in determination of nicotine content in the milled raw material; one adds starch and distilled water to milled rustic tobacco, blends the ingredients till homogeneous doughy mass formation; one determines the mixture pH, additionally one introduces baking soda into the mixture and conditions the mixture pH to a level of 7.4 - 8.2, then one applies flavouring agent solution, preliminarily prepared, on the doughy mass, thoroughly stirs, then one stores the produced mixture during one day at room temperature, packs the target product at the following components ratio, wt %: rustic tobacco - 41.0 - 45.0; baking soda - 2.0 - 6.0; native starch - 10.0 - 14.0; flavouring agent solution - no more than 0.03; distilled water - balance.

EFFECT: production labour conditions safety increase, reduction of the risk of damage to the consumer's health, production of the target product with good organoleptic indices.
