FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for reconditioning worn-out and hardening of working surfaces of parts by electric contact roller welding of ferromagnetic powder. Ferromagnetic powder is fed onto roller electrode working surface magnetised by permanent magnet. Ferromagnetic powder retained by magnetic forces on said surface is fed to welding zone by rotation of roller electrode. Permanent magnet is arranged all along the length of said electrode and spaced from electrode working surface to provided for sufficient traction of ferromagnetic powder.
EFFECT: reduced losses of ferromagnetic powder and electric power consumption.
