FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves blowing of hydrogen-containing gas into oil and oil products, their mixing with formation of heterogeneous medium containing liquid and gaseous phase, action on heterogeneous medium with pulse electric discharges, separation of the treated heterogeneous medium with separation of light fractions. At that, water is sprayed to oil and oil products, and their moisture content is brought up to 2-5%; heterogeneous medium is influenced with pulse electric discharges with voltage pulse amplitude of 25-40 kV, current pulse amplitude of 3-10 kA, pulse duration of 3-10 microseconds and pulse repetition frequency of 5-30 Hz. Invention also refers to oil and oil product cracking device by influence of pulse electric discharges, pulse duration of 3-10 microseconds and pulse repetition frequency of 5-30 Hz.
EFFECT: improving operating reliability and service life characteristics.
