FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: patient's admission blood plasma is examined by V-dehydration technique with a plasma drop pre-dried on a slide with analysing the structure of the produced facies microscopically, and if observing a combination of two signs - hyperpigmentation of the peripheral facies and sickling in the same region, severe pancreatitis is stated.
EFFECT: method allows determining a early therapeutic approach to the patient with its relative simplicity, low price and availability.
