SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and structures for fastening thread ends, such as wire, devices applicable for placement in anatomical structures, and resulting devices. Braided self-extending stents can serve an example of such. Method of self-extending stent formation contains curve of multiple threads on both sides of each first thread curve, and each part of thread has end. Braiding of thread parts, which includes curve for formation of second thread curves. Reverse braiding of some end parts of thread. Fastening each of multiple connecting structures to one pair of end parts of thread. Quantity of connecting structures equals quantity of threads. Connecting structures are not threads. Said fastening has placement on one line of pairs of end parts of threads end to end. Self-extending stent contains multiple threads and multiple connecting structures. Threads include, each, part of thread on both sides of first curve of thread. Each part of thread has end. Parts of suture are braided. Some parts of thread include second curve of thread and are braided back. Pairs of end parts of thread are placed on one line end to end. Connecting structures are not threads. Their quantity is equal to quantity of threads. Each connecting structure is fastened to one pair of end parts of thread.

EFFECT: development of structures for fastening thread ends, such as wire, devices, applicable for placement in anatomic structures.
