MICRO-FASTENING DEVICES FOR ATTACHING DEVICES ON BODY TISSUE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B17/03

Abstract RU 2602682 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Micro-fastening device for attaching a device to body tissue for implantation into gastrointestinal tract comprises a first element engaged with tissue, a second element engaged with tissue and a flexible connector connecting first element engaged tissue to second element engaged with tissue and configured to absorb external forces by stretching or deformation. Micro-fastening device can be in unfolded state and engagement state. First element engaged with tissue and second element engaged with tissue form a clamp to ensure penetration into tissue approximately only by 1 mm in engagement state. Connector is made in form of a helical spring. Method of attaching device to tissue in body for implantation into gastrointestinal tract involves following steps: connection to device of at least one micro-fastening device, comprising first element engaged with tissue, second element engaged with tissue, flexible connector connecting first element engaged with tissue to second element engaged with tissue and configured to absorb external force by stretching or deformation, so that first element engaged with tissue and second element engaged with tissue in engagement state penetrates tissue approximately by only 1 mm, wherein connector is made in form of helical spring. Device can be in unfolded and in engagement state and comprises releasing thread, retaining first and second elements engaged with tissue in unfolded state. Further, method includes steps of: endoluminal implantation of device in unfolded state, release freeing thread for transition of device into engagement state, wherein first and second elements engaged to tissue form a clamp.

EFFECT: higher reliability of fixation at normal operation of gastrointestinal tract, as well as endoluminal removal of device.
