FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: starting and regulating device contains control device, power source and half-bridge inverter consisting of capacitive divider, two key elements and transformer, where power source is connected to capacitive divider of half-bridge inverter, to the same terminals of power source one terminal from each key element is connected, at the same time, switching element is additionally introduced into half-bridge inverter, and in the transformer, two identical additional primary windings are installed which are Y-connected with primary winding. Two additional primary windings are connected in the first node by ending terminals, and primary winding is connected to the first node by starting terminal, each other terminal of additional primary winding is connected with each key element of half-bridge inverter, and the second node of capacitive divider condensers connection is connected with other terminal of primary winding via breaking circuit of controlled switch and with the first node via closing circuit of controlled switch. Simultaneously, in the starting and regulating device, two additional primary windings can be connected in the first node by starting terminals, and primary winding can be connected to the first node by ending terminal which does not change device operation principle. Also, in the starting and regulating device, high-pressure discharge lamp is connected in the secondary winding of transformer through ballast.
EFFECT: providing possibility of device functioning in two modes and improved device operation reliability owing to substantial lowering of through current values in case of simultaneous emergency operation of key elements.
