FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmic surgery. Non-through cut of cornea with diameter 7.5-8.5 mm is performed. Superficial keratectomy is carried out within the cut with orientation at appearing in the place of tension between superficial and deep layers of stroma line of white colour when cornea disk is lifted and tensioned. Needle with sterile air is introduced into remaining layers of cornea in lower quadrant with indent inwards from cut edge, and moved into upper quadrant of cornea; air in volume 1.5 ml is introduced. Paracentesis is made in the area of limb and if there are no air bubbles in intraocular fluid from anterior chamber cannula with non-dyed viscoelastic 1.0 ml in volume is introduced into the zone of the formed air bubble. Decompression is performed by puncturing cornea centre, then from puncture cornea is dissected on entire thickness, after which formed flaps are removed, remains of viscoelastic arew washed out and the remaining stages of operation are carried out successively.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to achieve reduction of frequency of intra- and post-operative complications due to reduction of risk of Descemet membrane perforation and absence of toxic impact of dyes on cornea endothelium, obtain high clinical-functional results.
