FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology, namely to methods of anterior deep layer-by-layer keratoplasty. Trepanation incision 475-500 mcm deep is made. Air is introduced into deep layers of stroma in amount sufficient for air movement towards limb. Through pneumatised layers of stroma cannula is introduced to paracentral zone of cornea. Through cannula introduced is stained vuiscoelastic in amount necessary for separation of Descemet membrane.
EFFECT: method ensures reduction of risk of Descemet membrane injury in the course of operation.
