FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport facilities, particularly, to electrical railway system comprises car with electric drive, electric power accumulators and device to feed electric power to said car. The latter comprises electric power source and trolley wire section 1A connected thereto. Car 10 with electric drive comprises: pantograph 2A on car roof with section of contact with aforesaid section 1A to up and down aforesaid section of contact. System incorporates gang switch 11 connected with pantograph 2A to connect/disconnect primary circuit. It includes also electric power converter 12 connected with gang switch 11. Electric power accumulator 13 is connected with converter 12. Car motor is supplied by said converter to drive the car. Gang switch 11 is managed by power block 15.
