FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: system for detecting a target molecule in a fluid medium sample has: a first container (1) with a detection surface (4), a second container (2) which contains, before use of the detection system, at least one magnetic and/or electric label (5) which is adapted to interact with a target molecule, a magnetic and/or electric field generator for transferring the label (5) from the second container (2) into the first container (1) and a device (9) for controlling flow of the fluid medium in order to generate flow from the first container (1) towards the second container (2). The first container (1) does not contain labels before use of the detection system. The method of detecting a target molecule involves interaction of the sample with the magnetic and/or electric label, transferring said label to the detection surface, detection of the signal obtained through the label and facilitating flow of fluid medium different from the direction of transfer of the label. The group of inventions also relates to a sensor component used in the detection system, having a first container (1) with a detection surface (4) and a second container (2) with at least one magnetic and/or electric label (5).
EFFECT: high sensitivity and reliability of reaction owing to reduced effect of unreacted reactants on detection of a labelled target molecule.
