SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular, to production of biologically active food additives and may be used as a source of luteolin bioflavonoid and vitamins having an antioxidant effect. The biologically active additive contains, wt %: medick hay as a source of luteolin bioflavonoid - 40-60, selenium - 0.002-0.002, distilled water- balance up to 100. 10 ml of medick extract contains 4 g of powdered vitamin mixture as follows: vitamin A -910 mcg; vitamin D₃ -9.0 mcg; vitamin C - 100 mg; vitamin PP - 17.0 mg; vitamin E - 12.7 mg-eq; calcium pantothenate B₅ - 5.0 mg; vitamin B₆ -2.0 mg; vitamin B₁₂ - 1.9 mg; vitamin B₁ - 1.7 mg; folic acid - 0.6 mcg; vitamin K₁ - 0.08 mcg; biotin - 270 mcg; vitamin - B₁₂ - 3.0 mcg; beta-carotene - 10 mg. The method envisages preparation of a solution of medick hay, selenium and distilled water, extraction at a temperature of 180-190°C under a pressure of 6×10⁵ Pa for 3-4 hours. Then one performs the extract separation and introduction of the vitamin mixture in an amount of 4 g per 10 ml of the medick hay extract. One performs thorough stirring during 30 minutes and packing.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce a biologically active food additive with an intensified antioxidant effect and increased content of bioflavonoids.
