FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alcohol-free and food-concentrates industries, namely to functional beverages. Functional beverage includes hibiscus extract, alfalfa seed extract "Eramin", stevioside, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and water, with following ratio of initial ingredients per 100 dal of finished beverage, kg: hibiscus extract – 11.0–13.0; biologically active additive "Eramin" – 0.17–0.22; stevioside – 0.14–0.17; potassium sorbate (E202) – 0.23–0.27; sodium benzoate (E211) – 0.13–0.17; water (dm3) – up to 1,000.00.
EFFECT: beverage has improved organoleptic properties, in particular refined refreshing, sweetish-sourish taste, reminiscent of raspberry compote taste, with light slight note of astringency and herbiness and tender floral aroma with light fruit notes, has functional orientation – antioxidant action, reduces risk of oncological diseases, cholesterol level, weight, normalizes metabolism, supports the immune system.
