FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises boring tube inner diameter at lathe including hollow spindle, chuck and support with cutter holder. First, thread is cut on long tube billet end and bore is drilled therein to receive drill with hard metal tip attached to stem from jewel steel. Then, tube is coupled with appliance including case jointed with oil station tank coupled with oil receiver, union nut, distance bells, and sealing gland. Said end of said stem with drill attached thereto is fitted in said case. Thereafter, drill is fed into tube bore for stem free end to be passed through chuck lathe hollow spindle. Then, appliance with tube are secured in lathe cutter holder to be pulled some distance from lathe chuck for appliance union nut to be clamped. Note, stem is clamped in chuck while tube free end is connected to oil receiver. Oil station cut on, lathe support is fed toward chuck to bore tube inner diameter. Support approaches chuck, fed is interrupted to return support into initial position. Lathe and oil station mechanisms are cut off to unclamp the chuck for drill to be displaced against the stop toward tube and clamped in chuck. Lathe and oil station mechanisms are switched on again to repeat drilling cycle unless tube inner diameter is bored.
EFFECT: expanded performances, higher surface quality.
