ALPHA-CONOTOXIN PnIA ANALOGUE SHOWING HIGH AFFINITY AND SELECTIVITY TO ACETYLCHOLINE-BINDING PROTEIN FROM APLYSIA CALIFORNICA Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC C07K7/08

Abstract RU 2458068 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, namely a new alpha-conotoxin PnIA analogue showing high affinity and selectivity to acetylcholine-binding protein (ACBP) form Aplysia californica. The peptide has an amino acid sequence: GCCSHPPCAANNPDYC-NH2 (SEQ ID NO:1) and contains two intramolecular disulphide bonds between Cys2 and Cys8, Cys3 and Cys16.

EFFECT: invention allows extending the range the substances which appear to be competitive antagonists of acetylcholine nicotinic receptor.
