FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ozone generation and may be used for water treatment and processing of premises in medicine. Ozone generator comprises discharge chamber shaped to rectangular parallelepiped. Flat electrodes and dielectric barriers are stacked inside said chamber having inlet and outlet cells. Rectangular metal electrodes are laid so that odd plates adjoin chamber one side while even electrodes adjoin chamber opposite side, both sides making high- and low-voltage buses. Dielectric barrier adjoins one of said electrodes in discharge gap. Segnetoceramic BaTiO3-BaZrO3 is used as dielectric barrier.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reliability and stability.
