SUBSTANCE: multiple broaching of surface by tool with sphere indenter is performed at broaching force allowing indenter penetration into machined surface of h=(1.5-2)Rmax wherein Rmax is maximum height of workpiece surface profile prior to broaching. Said indenter is made from fine cubic boron nitride.
EFFECT: higher hardness and wear resistance.
