FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: light-emitting diode (LED) display has a data collection unit which collects data in form of an image, a data conversion unit which converts data collected by the data collection unit in form of an image, and a LED display unit for displaying data converted by the data conversion unit. The LED display unit has multiple groups of LEDs consisting of red, green, blue and white LEDs. According to the invention, the LED display employs LEDs emitting four colours, which form a pixel, and the white LED to emit white light instead of white light obtained by mixing RGB system colours.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
