FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electromechanical switch contains a gear reducer, a power wafer or cam switch with varied phasicity, a coupling sleeve (by means whereof the gear reducer is connected to the wafer switch), a control unit with a microcontroller, the gear reducer on/off key, the switching direction selection key, a terminal block for supply of low current control signals and a stabiliser. The control unit is based on a printed board; the charging device is connected in parallel to the accumulator, the stabiliser and the second key via the power supply buses; the power inputs are connected to the inputs of the wafer switch sets of contacts via electric wires; while in the operating position, the inlets of the switch wafer sets are connected to the terminal block and the charging device via wires. One of the utmost wafers of the wafer switch represents the switch current position sensor; for this purpose the said utmost wafer is connected to the control unit via wires.

EFFECT: reliability improvement, energy consumption reduction and design simplification.
