SUBSTANCE: prevention of developing genital prolapse following hysterectomy is enabled by determining the content of blood C-terminal telopeptides, oxyproline, urine pyrilinx-D. The content of C-terminal telopeptides more than 0.6 ng/ml, oxyproline more than 180 mmole/l, pyrilinx-D more than 8 nmole deoxypyridinoline/mole creatinine requires hysterectomy from a vaginal approach with additional fixation of the uterine ligamentous apparatus.
EFFECT: method provides reducing a risk of developing postoperative genital prolapse.
