FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to decomposition of carbonaceous materials contained in compositions. More specifically, the invention can be used to remove carbon dioxide from gaseous and liquid compositions. The method for primary removal of carbonaceous material from a composition containing carbonaceous material involves reaction of carbonaceous material with a sulphur compound to obtain products containing carbon and sulphuric acid, sulphurous acid and/or sulphur dioxide. The obtained composition and system used for this purpose are also described.
EFFECT: removing carbonaceous materials for protecting the atmosphere.
