FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: annealed, previously doped, water-sprayed powder is proposed, based on iron, as well as the method of its manufacture and a detail obtained from this powder. Iron-based powder contains 10 less than 18 wt % Cr, 0.5-5 wt % of each of at least one element of Mo, W, V and Nb, and 0.5-2% C. The powder has a matrix containing at least 10 wt % Cr, and contains large carbides M23C6-type M23C6-type in combination with smaller carbides of M7C3-type. The method of obtaining powder involves spraying of the iron-based fusion with water and annealing of the powder particles at a temperature and for a period of time sufficient to produce in particles of large chromium carbides and smaller and more solid chromium carbides.
EFFECT: increased endurance.
