FIELD: environment protection.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a diverting wing 1, a diverting L-shaped bar 2, elements of fixation. The diverting wing 1 represents a float chamber 3 in the form of a box filled with air. A rotary ring 4 is welded to the upper plane of the float chamber. On the float chamber 3 there is a hole for water drain with a plug 5 and a handle 6 for carrying. Plates 7 with eyes 8 are welded to bases of the float chamber 3. The boom comprises sections joined with each other by a lock joint. The unit of diverting wing 1 fixation to the lock joint of boom sections is arranged hingedly with the help of a bracket 9. The diverting L-shaped bar 2 is designed to change the angle of wing 1 diverting relative to the axis of the boom. The unit to fix the short end of the diverting bar to the interfloat zone of the boom section is arranged as hingedly with the help of a bracket 11. The long end of the diverting bar 2 is pulled via the hole of the rotary eye 4 as capable of making a reciprocal movement.
EFFECT: device makes it possible to increase a possible angle of boom diverting with deflectors to reduce longitudinal load on it as emergency oil and oil product spills are confined in water areas of rivers with fast stream.
