FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a medium with total absence of oxygen, an electrolytic bath located inside the medium, a substrate submerged into the bath, electroconductive elements, differing in composition, and a source of supply connected to the substrate and a combination of elements and arranged as capable of developing current density on each element and the substrate so that the substrate is coated with a material from each of the combination of elements submerged into the bath, proportionately to current densities developed on them. The method includes development of a medium with total absence of oxygen with availability of the bath inside the medium, submersion of the substrate and electroconductive elements differing in composition, into the bath, development of current density at each element and using current densities sufficient for coating of the substrate with a material from each element inside the bath, proportionately to current densities developed on each element.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce coatings with required properties.
