SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the biotechnology field. One proposes a method for production of a sweetener of Stevia Rebaudiana plant, such sweetener containing at least 11.3:1 weight ratio of Rebaudioside A to Stevioside where the said plant is grown from seeds deposited in the International Depositary under No FERM BP-10353 (IPOD) (Japan) or is grown by way of repeated crossings or selection of the plant grown from seeds deposited in the International Depositary under No FERM BP-10353 (IPOD) (Japan) or its dried leaves. Additionally one proposes a method for production of Rebaudioside A by way of extraction from the plant grown from the seeds deposited in the International Depositary under No FERM BP-10353 (IPOD) (Japan) or its dried leaves.
