FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to urology and can be used for gripping stones in process of intracorporal lithotripsy. Combined instrument for gripping and holding stone in lithotripter contains external envelope for placement of gripper from nitinol tube. Gripper has, at least, three holding elements, longitudinal cuts, atraumatic tip at distal end and canal for instrument placement. Minimal width of proximal part of each holding element is selected for complete reproduction of bulb shape by gripper. In distal part of each of holding elements provided are longitudinal cuts, which constitute less than half of entire gripper length.
EFFECT: increased reliability of stone holding during crushing and ensuring removal of stone remnants after crushing by means of gripper.
