FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas distribution grate for reactors with fluid bed for gas phase polymerisation of α-olefins. Proposed grate comprises multiple chutes arranged to form l walls of reverse cone. Note here that said multiple chutes are interconnected to produce gaps in zone of overlap between adjacent chutes. Note also that chute circular modules are formed by overlapping chutes. Invention covers also the reactor with fluid bed equipped with said grate fitted at its base, gas circulation system to circulate and cool unreacted gas from reactor top section and tube for continuous discharge of polymer from reactor.
EFFECT: uniform gas distribution, ruled out clogging, continuous faultless operation.
