FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for polymerisation of olefins in gaseous phase. Gas phase olefin polymerisation process is carried out in a reactor having two interconnected polymerisation zones: a first zone is an upflow reactor and a second zone is a downflow reactor. Growing polymer particles first move through an upflow reactor in a fast fluidisation mode set by feeding a gas mixture and a liquid medium (a). Then, the polymer particles leave the upflow reactor and enter the downflow reactor through which they flow down in the compacted form (b). Further, particles leave the downflow reactor and are repeatedly fed into the upflow reactor thereby creating a circulation of the polymer between the upflow reactor and the downstream reactor (c). At that, the reactor operates at temperature of 0 °C to 5 °C above the gas dew point in the upflow reactor at working pressure. In an upflow reactor, in addition to growing polymer particles and a gas stream, a certain amount of liquid medium is also present.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the process and enables to obtain polymers with high yield point.
