FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forming of polymers, particularly, to making multilayer structures. Method of forming multilayer structures from synthetic polymer by compression moulding of multilayer dose of fused polymer including, at least, one functional layer. Note here that every layer of said dose stays compressed in fused state. Proposed method comprises, at least, coextrusion of polymers through spinneret, cutting off extrudate dose and placing the latter as-fused in die cavity. Said method defines dose extrusion direction and position of functional layer in parallel with extrusion direction. Said dose is pressed in compression axis crossing extrusion direction to produce spreading of layers in asymmetry relative to compression axis.
