FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in preparing recombinant proteins for different applications containing unnatural amino acid phenyl-selenocysteine (PSC). What is offered is a composition enabling translation of PSC-containing protein, consisting of PSC, orthogonal tRNA (O-tRNA) and orthogonal aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase (O-RS) selectively acylating the used tRNA by phenyl-selenocysteine , as well as a method for preparing such a protein wherein PSC is found in the pre-set position, in the translation system presented by an eubacterial cell.
EFFECT: there are disclosed possibilities of the future effective PSC modifications found in the composition of the recombinant product.
