FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: inducer has a non-ferromagnetic dielectric support element (1) with a longitudinal groove on the working face, an electrical conductor (2) laid into the groove of that support element (1) and means (3) of connecting the conductor (2) to a pulsed current source (4). The scanner for magnetographic flaw detection has a rigid housing (9) and an eddy current inducer which is rigidly connected to the housing.
EFFECT: improved inducer.
