FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to ophthalmology. Essence of method lies in the following: optic cup is formed with excision of vitreous body, obtained optic cup is fixed with formalin solution for 24 hours at room temperature, content of optic cup is washed three times with distilled water, superficial layers of retina are excised in area of macula to RPE layer, RPE cells are exfoliated in the area of macula with simultaneous drop application on its surface of anti-fade solution which contains in volume %: glycerol solution - 50%, diasabicyclo[2.2.2] octane solution - 2%, tris-buffer - 0.02 M, pH 7.4 - to 100%; obtained suspension of cells is centrifuged, 2/3 of liquid volume are removed from test-tube, the remaining supernatant liquid with cell sediment is dispersed with application of obtained dispersant on microscope slide.
EFFECT: application of claimed method makes it possible to improve methods of isolation and fixation of cells of retinal pigment epithelium for spectral analysis.
