FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food and fodder industry. Seeds are cleared from impurities, steamed with water vapour till moisture content equal 20-25% during 15-20 minutes. One performs thermal treatment by way of the infrared radiation method at a temperature of 120°C during 80-90 sec; one proceeds with cooling to an ambient temperature.
EFFECT: invention allows to manufacture a stabilised product with high nutritive and biological value, increase the seeds volume alongside with shape integrity preservation and taste properties improvement, to expand the range of biologically active raw material.
