FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: rotary cutting tool, particularly, precision tool with integrated emulsion feed system has cutting section furnished with multiple cutter or cutting edges, chip flutes and body with clamping site opposite said cutting section. To increase durability and improve cooling, said clamping site is furnished with emulsion feed channels, their number corresponding to that of chip flutes, arranged to allows free flow of emulsion from clamping site outlets along the body and into cutting section chip flutes. Proposed method comprises feeding emulsion through clamping site at the pressure of 5 to 80 bar, preferably, at 10 to 70 bar.
EFFECT: higher durability, better cooling at clamping site.
