FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device has an active matrix, a plurality of storage capacitor bus lines, an image formation section, two groups of trunk lines, source and gate drive circuits, a circuit for controlling the image forming process and circuits for controlling the two groups of trunk lines. The first group of trunk lines is borders with one end of the active region of the image forming section in the direction in which the plurality of storage capacitor bus lines pass and lies perpendicular to the direction of said storage capacitor lines. The second group of trunk lines borders with the other end of the active display region, in the direction in which the plurality of storage capacitor bus lines pass. Each of the storage capacitor lines is connected by one end through the corresponding contact opening to the trunk lines of the first group, and by the second end to trunk lines of the second group. The storage capacitor lines contain a bending section in its supply section, which passes from the active region to the point of connection of the storage capacitor bus with the corresponding trunk line.
EFFECT: improved γ-characteristic of the display pixels, and more uniform brightness distribution thereof.
