FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, to production of fodder additives. The method for production of a protein-and-vitamin additive is as follows: one mills initial raw material, adds water and performs heat treatment of the produced substrate. Then one performs fermentative assimilation of yeast under conditions of aeration in a nutritional medium. The produced yeast suspension is subjected to plasmolysis with subsequent separation of the target product. The produced yeast suspension plasmolysis is performed in a whirling mass-transfer apparatus. The produced yeast suspension is supplied along the wall of the perforated cylindrical body of the whirling mass-transfer apparatus in the downward flow mode in the form of a swirled liquid film 5-6 mm thick at a rate of 0.8-1.0 m/s with simultaneous treatment of the film with tangentially directed vapour flow with a temperature equal to 112°C - 125°C.
EFFECT: usage of the proposed invention allows to reduce the period of contact of vapour and microorganisms suspension with guaranteed deactivation of microorganisms.
