METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF FATAL OUTCOMES IN PATIENTS SUFFERING VIRAL OR ALCOHOLIC CIRRHOSIS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/205

Abstract RU 2465818 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to gastroenterology. Multilevel neurodynamic analysis of cardiorhythmogram is conducted with the use of a rhythmocardiograph and Omega-S hardware and software complex. The following indices are evaluated: A is a contingency of all, but preferentially peripheral rhythm processes, B1 is a degree of balance of sympatic and parasympatic effects on a cardiac pacer, C1 is a state of central subcortical regulation, D1 is a state of central cortical regulation. The onset of the fatal outcome (Ufatal) in the patients suffering viral or alcoholic cirrhosis is calculated by formula: Ufatal = -2.217+0.031*A+0.064*B1+0.012*C1+0.025*D1. The Ufatal value less than -0.41 enables predicting the fatal outcome in the given category of patients for 6 months after the examination.

EFFECT: method provides higher prediction accuracy.
