SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to verify symptomatic and minimal hepatic encephalopathy in chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the liver is conducted in the mode of proton spin labelling by a magnetic field in the arterial blood water molecules (ASL-perfusion) with a qualitative assessment of the ASL map. If the ASL map is red, the perfusion is quantified (ml/100 g/min) and 1 month after treatment the qualitative and quantitative assessment is recorded. If the ASL map is red, the perfusion index has increased 1.5-fold, then it is declarative of the presence of symptomatic encephalopathy. If the perfusion rate is less than 1.5 times or show no dynamics, then the presence of minimal hepatic encephalopathy is judged. If the ASL map is blue/green card, then the quantitative parameters are not assessed, and it implies the absence of symptomatic or minimal hepatic encephalopathy.
EFFECT: method ensures timely detection of disorders in the central nervous system even at the preclinical stage of development of hepatic encephalopathy in chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver by verifying symptomatic and minimal hepatic encephalopathy based on the ASL data - liver perfusion.
