SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly cardiology. What is involves is daily monitoring of blood pressure with assessing variability of daily systolic and diastolic blood pressure. It is added with measuring average daily systolic and diastolic blood pressure values, rate of morning systolic and diastolic blood pressure build-up, and calculating a stability index by mathematical formula. If the stability index is less or equal to 2.14, daily blood pressure is stable. If the stability index exceeds 2.14, blood pressure is considered to be unstable.

EFFECT: method provides more accurate measurement of daily blood pressure stability as considers both variability of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and average blood pressure values underlying developing variations of single blood pressure values, as well as rate of morning blood pressure build-up that enables more adequate treatment of the patients.
